I am a ranger with the parks service in Canberra working on the Murrumbidgee River and Namadgi National Park (the northern section of the Australian Alps). I moved to Australia in 1998, from the UK, where I managed nature reserves for The Glamorgan Wildlife Trust. My camera follows me to work, on holidays and around the garden. Having planted a native garden and backing onto bushland means I don’t go far for a lot of my photography, 1 in 8 of the images here were taken in my backyard.
