Jan-Peter Lahall was born in 1955 and lives in Garphyttan, outside Örebro, in Central Sweden. His interest in nature photography started early and he is today one of the most established and qualified nature photographer in Sweden. He is also well-known far outside the borders of the country.

He draws his inspiration from the nature in his home surroundings as well as from his trips around Sweden, Scandinavia and the rest of the world. Over the years his pictures have among other things resulted in many successful books and appreciated calendars.

Jan-Peter Lahall runs his own nature photography gallery and Image archive in central Örebro.
