Jean-Michel Labat has a life-time experience of photographing animals in the wild, especially in east Africa. However, one also discovers animals in his Paris studio; cats, dogs and new generation pets hold no secrets for him. His photographs appear in numerous magazines and journals and he works in close collaboration with advertising agencies and publishers. Florence Rouquette, after working for the BIOS and Pho.ne photographic agencies, has become his most faithful associate.
